Displaying text information of
an audio file
The operation is the same as that of the built-
in DVD player.
Refer to Displaying text information on disc on
page 37.
! If the characters recorded on the audio file
are not compatible with this unit, those
characters will not be displayed.
Selecting files from the file
name list
When the separately sold display is connected
to this unit, the listed information will appear
on it.
The operation is the same as that of the built-
in DVD player.
Refer to Selecting tracks fro m the file name list
on page 38.
Introduction of advanced
operations
For details concerning operation, refer to the
USB adapters operation manual. This section
provides information on USB portable audio
player/USB memory operations with this unit
which differs from that described in the USB
adapters operation manual.
! Optimum performance of this unit may not
be obtained depending on the connected
USB portable audio player/USB memory.
1 Function display
Shows the function status.
2 RDM indicator
Shows when random play is on.
3 RPT indicator
Shows when repeat range is selected to TRK
or FLD.
% Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
between the following functions:
REPEAT (repeat play)RANDOM (random
play)SCAN (scan play)PAUSE (pause)

# To return to the playback display, press BAND.
# If you do not operate the function within about
30 seconds, the display is automatically returned
to the playback display.
Function and operation
REPEAT, RANDOM, SCAN, PAUSE and item
list operations are basically the same as that
of the built-in DVD player.
