You can record a 16:9 wide picture to watch on
the 16:9 wide-screen TV.
(1) While pressing PUSH OPEN, open the LCD
panel.
(2) Set STEADY SHOT/16:9 WIDE to 16:9 WIDE.
The picture in the viewfinder [a] or on a
normal TV [b] is horizontally compressed.
You can watch the picture of normal images
on a wide-screen TV [c].

Usted podrá videofilmar imágenes con 16:9
WIDE para contemplarlas en un televisor de
pantalla amplia de 16:9.
(1) Manteniendo presionada PUSH OPEN, abra
la pantalla de cristal líquido.
(2) Ponga STEADY SHOT/16:9 WIDE en 16:9
WIDE.
La imagen del visor [a] o la de un televisor
normal [b] se comprimirá horizontalmente.
Usted podrá contemplar imágenes normales
en un televisor de pantalla amplia [c].

Set STEADY SHOT/16:9 WIDE to OFF.
Notes on wide mode
• In 16:9 WIDE mode, the STEADY SHOT does
not work.
• When you record in 16:9 WIDE mode, the date
or time indicator will be widened on the wide-
screen TV.
• If you dub a tape, the tape is copied in the same
mode as the original recording.

Notas sobre el modo de pantalla amplia
• En el modo 16:0 WIDE, el modo de
videofilmación estable (STEADY SHOT) no
trabajará.
• Cuando videofilme en el modo 16:9 WIDE, el
indicador de la fecha o de la hora se verá
ampliado en el televisor de pantalla amplia.
• Cuando duplique una videocinta, ésta se
copiará con el mismo modo que el de
grabación original.
