Using the Parent Menu
The Parent Menu allows you to
set up the TV to block programs
according to their content and
rating levels.
To select the Parent Menu
1 Press MENU.
2 Move the joystick _, or ,_ to
highlight the Parent icon and
press Q.

Use the 0-9 buttons on the remote control to enter a four-digit
password.
If this is the first time you are creating this password, confirm the
password by entering it again. (The Parent Menu options
appear.)
Move the joystick tt _ _, ,_ to change settings. Press C) to select
the changed setting.
Press MENU to exit the Menu.

simplify the rating selection. To
set more specific ratings,select
Custom.

The Parent Menu includes the following options:
Parental Lock
Turn ratings
on/off and select a
rating system
Change Password
Select Country
Off Parental lock is off. No programs are
blocked from viewing.
Child Maximum ratings permitted are:
.a US: TV-Y, TV-G, G
.J Canada: C, G, TV-Y
Youth Maximum ratings permitted arei
J US: TV-PG, PG
-I Canada: C8+, PG, 8 ans+, TV-PG
Y.Adult Maximum ratings permitted are:
_1 US: TV-14, PG-13
_1 Canada: 14+, 13 ans+,TV-14
