Chapter 3 Operations for Linear/Nonlinear Editing 3-15 (E)
1 Press the MAVE-F555 R key, and then select the MAV-555 recorder port.
2 Hold down the SHIFT key, and then press the STORE key.
The current save status is superimposed on the display as EDL Memory.
3 Hold down the STORE key, and then press any MEMORY key from 1 to
4. The cut point information of the file loaded in Step 1 is saved in the
MEMORY key pressed in Step 2.
Notes
The cut point information at the time that you perform the procedure is
saved. If you continue editing after saving the cut point information, the
information is not updated until you perform this procedure again.
If you want to save the cut point information automatically, set MAVE-D555
menu 1: Main, item 8: EDL AUTO SAVE to the number (MEMORY1 to 4)
where you want to save the cut information file. When editing, the cut point
information is saved automatically in the file number set here.
Recalling saved cut point information
1 Press the MAVE-F555 R key, and then select the MAV-555 recorder port.
2 Hold down the SHIFT key, and then press the STORE key.
The current save status is superimposed on the display as EDL Memory.
3 Press one of the MEMORY keys from 1 to 4, depending on the file that
you want to recall.
The cut point information of the file saved in the pressed key is recalled,
the superimposed indications on the display disappear, and the file loaded
to the recorder port.
If there is already a file loaded in the recorder port, the file that you
recalled is loaded only after the current file is unloaded.
Note
If you recall the cut point information, you may no longer be able to trim some
cuts.
