3-2 Operations for Nonlinear Editing (Operations in Cut Units)
2 Select the Player port.
If you want to select a file for correction, follow the procedure described
under Selecting a file (page 3-1).
3 Use the BVE editor JOG dial to search for and find the IN point.
4 Press the MARK IN key on the MAVE-F555 editing panel.
The IN point time data is displayed on the monitor connected to
MONITOR OUT on the MAV-555.
5 Use the JOG dial on the BVE editor to search and find the OUT point, just
as you searched the IN point in Step 3.
6 Press the MARK OUT key on the MAVE-F555 editing panel.
The OUT point time data is displayed on the monitor connected to
MONITOR OUT on the MAV-555.
7 Select the Recorder port.
8 Use the BVE editor JOG dial to search for and find the IN point.
9 Press the MARK IN key on the MAVE-F555 editing panel.
The IN point time data is displayed on the monitor connected to
MONITOR OUT on the MAV-555.

Use the BVE editor JOG dial to search for and find the split point.
If the split base is VIDEO, search for the AUDIO advance (or delay) edit
point, or if the split base is AUDIO, search for the VIDEO advance (or
delay) edit point.

Press the MARK SPLIT key on the MAVE-F555 editing panel.
The monitor display indicates that the system is in the split edit mode.
On the monitor display AA is displayed if the split base is AUDIO
Advance with VIDEO, AD is displayed for AUDIO delay, VA is
displayed if the split base is VIDEO Advance with AUDIO, and VD is
displayed for VIDEO delay.

screen display.
