3-3 Background Operation (Recording/Playback Using the Spare Port)

BACK GROUND
To start recording on the background port, use the following procedure.
1 When you want to record an EE screen, start by pressing the [BG] key.
This operation may be skipped when you want to start recording
immediately. Doing step 2 by itself can start recording.
Shows that the background port is selected.

NEW#0007
Shows the file name of the recording file.
2 Hold down the [
z
] key in the BACK GROUND operation section, and
press the [
B
] key.
Recording starts on the background port (R2 port).
R2] BG[MAV No0015
NEW#0008
New recording file is opened.
Note
The background port (R2 port) automatically has a file for recording assigned
when the MAV-555 is powered on (startup after switching to BVE mode). It is
not, therefore, necessary to open a file on the background port.
