VI-5. USALS Setting
USALS is very convenient motorized DiSEqC System that support DiSEqC 1.3 command
and also can get the satellite position automatically if you know geographical location.
Basically,the listed satellites have the Longitude saved and therefore the angle of the satellite
can be calculated without problem.
If you have USALS motorized system, then you can use the USALS as followings.
. Tuner Select
: Select a tuner, connected with USALS system.
. Satellite Name
: Select a satellite that will be used to identify a motor system.
. Satellite Angle
: It is the Longitude of the selected satellite and it can be set automatically
in case of selecting a satellite name.
. My Longitude:
: It means the angle of Longitude and you can select the direction of EAST
and WEST by Numeric or , button.
. My Latitude
: It means the angle of Latitude and you can select the direction of SOUTH
and NORTH by Numeric or , button.
. Reference Position
: Goes to Reference position (O˚)
. Move
: After selecting “goto the position” menu, it is adjustable by fine-tuning and
, button moves to anti-clockwise and clok-wise respectively.
. Frequency
: Selects the frequency to catch the strong signal.
. Goto the position
: After setting the Longitude, Latitude and the longitude of the selected
satellite, this menu is used when you want to move the desired direction (position)of the
dish, saved before. Its moving limit is ±65˚.
