Adding Automatic Actions
Summary: Perform these steps to add or change automatic actions that occur when a
defined condition is met. This process assumes that you have already
defined conditions. See Defining Conditions on page 10-6.
Automatic actions can be specified while you define a new condition, or
you can define the condition, and then add the action later. Actions can
include setting MBean attributes, invoking MBean operations, or
generating PATROL events.
To add automatic actions to a defined condition:
Step 1
Right-click the JMX server instance icon.
Step 2 From the KM Commands menu, choose Define Condition.
The Defined Conditions dialog box appears.
Step 3 Click the name of the condition to which you want to add notifications.
Step 4 Click the Modify button.
Step 5 Click Select.
The Define Condition dialog box appears.
