Where to Go from Here
Before using the product, take a few minutes to verify that it is correctly
configured and that key parts of your WebLogic environment are being
discovered and monitored correctly. See “Verifying and Troubleshooting
WebLogic Server Configuration” on page 3-18.
If you want to use any of the performance monitoring features, you must
enable advanced monitoring. See “Enabling Instrumentation and
Profiling Features” .
If your environment includes a server running WebLogic Server version
5.1, then you must also configure the EJB deployment. See “Setting EJB
Deployment for WebLogic 5.1” on page 3-17.
Enabling Instrumentation and Profiling Features

flexible features to monitor all aspects of a WebLogic environment at a
very detailed level. Many users will not need to monitor such granular
data, and to optimize performance, most of these features are turned off
by default.
