6. The phone sends your settings to the network and the
network’s acknowledgement appears in the display.
Call Waiting
This network service informs you when someone is
trying to reach you during another call. You can specify
individual call waiting options for voice calls and/or
data calls.
Setting Call Waiting Options
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then
press (for Settings), (for Network Services),
and for Call Waiting. The following options appear
in the display:
ⅷ Voice Calls — Applies Call Waiting to voice calls only.
ⅷ Data Calls — Applies Call Waiting to data calls only.
ⅷ Cancel All — Disables Call Waiting.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired option,
then press the Select (left) soft key ( ) or the key.
The current status (activated or deactivated) of Call
Waiting appears in the display.
3. If needed, press the Activate (left) soft key ( ) or the
key to activate the call waiting feature.
4. The phone sends your settings to the network and the
network’s acknowledgement appears in the display.
