Press [PLAY MODE] to select the play
mode.
The mode changes each time you press the button. Select the mode
then follow the procedures in the next column to start play.
All group play [DVD-A]
To play all the groups in succession
Program play
To play a maximum of 32 tracks in a programmed order
e.g. DVD-Audio

To play tracks randomly
e.g. DVD-Audio (three groups)
Normal play
≥The program is retained in memory.

Press [1] (PLAY).
Program play
1 Press [ENTER].
2 [DVD-Audio\only]
Press [3, 4] to select a group and
press [ENTER].
If you select bonus groups, you will have to enter a 4-digit
password (➡ page 9).
3 Press [3, 4] to select a track and
press [ENTER].
Each time you press the button,

≥Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 to program other tracks.
≥You can also select a group or track with the numbered but-
tons.
≥All the tracks on a disc are selected when you select “ALL”
(all the tracks in the selected group with DVD-Audio).
4 Press [1] (PLAY).
Play now begins in the programmed sequence.
To add or change tracks
Press [3, 4] to select an available item, then repeat steps 1–3.
To move to the page before or after the one shown
Press [6] or [5].
To clear the programmed tracks one by one
Press [3, 4] to select the item number (No) and press [CLEAR].
(Alternatively, you can select “Clear” with [3, 4, 2, 1] and press
[ENTER].)
To clear the whole program
Move to “Clear all” with [3, 4, 2, 1] and press [ENTER].
The whole program is also cleared when the unit is turned off or the
disc tray is opened.
Random play
1 [DVD-Audio\only]
Press [2, 1] to select a group and
press [ENTER].
≥You can select more than one group.
≥You can also select groups with the numbered buttons.
≥If you select bonus groups, you will have to enter a 4-digit

2 Press [1] (PLAY).
Play now begins in random order.
To clear a group [DVD-A]
Press [2, 1] to select the group you want to clear, then press
[ENTER].
