4 Press or to highlight Change Password, then press or
ENTER. The Change Password menu opens.
5 Enter the new password by pressing the number buttons (0-9),
then enter the same password again to confirm. The screen
returns to the Lock menu and your password is changed.
Notes:
To avoid forgetting your password, write it down and keep it in a safe
place.
If you forget the password, you can enter a master password (1397) to
access the Lock menu. Remember to set a new password.
To enable parental controls:
1 Press MENU. The Picture menu opens.
2 Press or to select Lock, then press . The Enter Password
screen opens.
3 Press the number buttons (0-9) to enter your password. The Lock
menu opens.
4 Press or to highlight System Lock, then press or to
change the setting to On. To set the rating and to enable the
rating you set up, you should set the System Lock to On. To
disable parental controls, turn this setting to Off.
5 Press MENU to return to the previous menu or EXIT to resume
normal viewing.
To set parental control rating levels:
1 Press MENU. The Picture menu opens.
2 Press or to select Lock, then press . The Enter Password
screen opens.
3 Press the number buttons (0-9) to enter your password. The Lock
menu opens.
4 Press or to highlight the rating category you want to set
(US in the example), then press or ENTER. The rating category
sub-menu opens.
5 Press or to highlight the rating type you want to set (TV in
the example), then press or ENTER. The rating type sub-menu
opens.
