To prevent delays or over-runs, DVD-Recorder has a
function called S
HOWVIEW Extended allowing you to
extend the recording time by up to 60 minutes.
Press the MENU button.
With the DVD in Stop press the MENU button.
Press the 34 button to select
“Program” and then press the OK or 1
button.
Press the corresponding 34 buttons,
until the “S
HOW
V
IEW
Extended” option is
selected.
Press the OK or 1 buttons to set the
“S
HOW
V
IEW
Extended” time by
increments of 10 minutes.
To turn off, press OK or 1 buttons
repeatedly until Off shows.

Press the OK button.
• The information concerning the program is
displayed.
• When using the SHOWVIEW function for the first
time with stored stations, the program number
flashes.This one time, you must enter the PR
number manually by pressing the 34 buttons.
Refer to the following page if:
• The program number or times flash
•You wish to modify the program.
If the program and times are correct,
press the OK button.
Press the STANDBY/ON button to
activate the timer.
Refer to pages 43~45 if you wish to:
• Check that your DVD Recorder has been
programed correctly.
• Cancel a preset recording.
■ The numbers next to each TV program listing in
the magazines or newspapers are SHOWVIEW
code numbers, which allow you to program your
DVD recorder instantly with the remote
control.
Tap in the SHOWVIEW code for the program you
wish to record.
