SPK.SETTING page
This setting allows you to select desired options concerning with the speakers.

MODE
You can select the speaker
configuration type according to
your speaker systems. Normally,
set to “5.1 CH.”
• 5.1 CH.
When you connect to a 5.1-channel
amplifier and use the front, rear,
center and sub-woofer speakers.
• When selecting “5.1 CH.,” set
“ANALOG OUT” to “MULTI
CHANNEL” in the “AUDIO”
preference display (see page 61).
• The Dolby Digital LEF (Low
Frequency Effect) signal is always
fed from the SUBWOOFER jack on
the rear panel of the unit regardless
of speaker setting.
• If you connect the unit’s digital
output to an external Dolby Digital
or DTS decoder (and set “DIGITAL
AUDIO OUTPUT” to “STREAM/
PCM” in the “AUDIO” preference
display), the speaker settings shown
left is not effective. Make the
speaker settings of the external
decoder properly.
•EXPERT
When you want to make fine tuning
to match your speakers. The SIZE,
DELAY, and LEVEL setting items are
available.

You can set the speaker sizes
according to your speakers.
