You can adjust the delay time of each speaker.
Selecting each speaker distance, which is on the basis of
the distance between the front speakers and the listening
position, sets an appropriate delay time. Check that what
the distance to each speaker is and set distance values
following the procedure.
¶ While the [SPK.SETTING] page of the preference
display is shown
1 Use 5/∞ to move to [DELAY] and press
ENTER.
The DELAY display page appears on the TV screen.

[SPK.SETTING] page.
2 Use 5/∞ to select the speaker to be set and
press ENTER.
CENTER SPEAKER: Center speaker
REAR SPEAKER: Rear speakers
3 Use 5/∞ to select the delay time and press
ENTER.
When you select [CENTER SPEAKER], you can
select the delay time from [0.0m] to [1.5m] in 30cm
units.
When you select [REAR SPEAKER], you can select
the delay time from [0.0m] to [4.5m] in 30cm units.
4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you set other
speakers.
• To return to the [SPK.SETTING] page
Use 5/∞ to move
to [RETURN] and press ENTER.
You can adjust the output level of each speaker.

display is shown
1 Use 5/∞ to move to [LEVEL] and press
ENTER.
The LEVEL display page appears on the TV screen.

2 Use 5/∞ to select the speaker to be set and
press ENTER.
FRONT SPEAKER: Front speakers (This item
cannot be selected. The level
is fixed to 0dB.)
CENTER SPEAKER: Center speaker
REAR SPEAKER: Rear speakers
SUB WOOFER: Subwoofer speaker
3 Use 5/∞ to set the level and press ENTER.
When you select [CENTER SPEAKER], [REAR
SPEAKER] or [SUB WOOFER], you can select the
level from –6 to 6dB in 1dB units.
4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you set other
speakers.
• To return to the [SPK.SETTING] page
Use 5/∞ to move
to [RETURN] and press ENTER.
To set the delay time
NOTE
• For the speaker(s) whose size is set to [NONE], the
delay time cannot be set.
