TV SETTINGS
Use the

buttons here to select the settings for your TV set.
When doing this, refer to the operating instructions for your TV set!
Video Output via
Select here the connection on the receiver to which you have connected your television.
Either
TV aspect ratio
Here you select the TV's picture format. Either
- 4:3 or
- 16:9
Picture format
Here you select the type of screen display,
depending on the setting of your TV format:
Pan & Scan
• Letterbox
Automatically (only if the “16:9” TV format
was selected)
Always 16:9 (only if the “16:9” TV format was
selected)
TV-SCART-Output
Select the type of video signal at the TV Scart
socket here. Select the signal that your TV set
can process.
- FBAS – Composite Colour Baseband Signal
(colour/picture/blanking/synchronous signal)
- RGB – Red/Green/Blue signal or
- Y/C – S-Video signal (luminance/
chrominance)
HDMI / YUV Format
Select here the video resolution that is to be used
on your TV. Either
- 1080i (resolution 1920 x 1080, half-screen
images)
- 576p (resolution 720 x 576, full-screen
images)
- 720p (resolution 1280 x 720, full-screen
images) or
- Automatic
Show 4:3 event
Select here the type of screen display for 4:3
programmes on a 16:9 TV:
- normal (Pillarbox)
- stretched (Full screen)
- zoom in (Pan & Scan)
You can also open the settings for “Show 4:3
event” and for “HDMI / YUV Format” when viewing
by pressing the
!
(green) button once.
Audio format via HDMI
Select here the type of audio signal that is to be
output over the HDMI interface. Select the signal
that your TV set can process.
- Decoded PCM
- S/PDIF format
