Time Search
DVD-VIDEODVD-VIDEO DVD-VRDVD-VR Video CDVideo CD
The Time Search function allows you to start playing
at any chosen time on the disc.
1 Press the [OSD] button twice briefly during
playback
2 Press the [2] or [3] button to select the Time
Search icon in the on-screen display. Press the
[ENTER] button.
The “_: _ _: _ _” appears in the Time Search box.
3 Press the [5] or [∞] button to change the
number, then press the [2] or [3] button to
move to the next entry
4 Press the [ENTER] button to confirm the start
time
Playback starts from the selected time on the disc.
If you enter an invalid time, playback will ✍
continue from the current point.
DVD-VIDEO Disc Menu
DVDs may offer menus that allow you to access
special features.
1 Press the [MENU] button
The disc menu is displayed.
2 Use the [5]/[∞]/[2]/[3] button to highlight
your selection, then press the [ENTER] button.
3 To return to the first menu feature, press the
[TOP MENU] button again.
4 To remove the disc menu, press the [MENU]
button again.
Video CD PBC Menu
Press [RETURN] to return to the menu screen.
Menu settings and operating procedures may
differ. Follow the instructions on the each menu
screen.
Canceling the PBC playback
1 Press the [7] button to stop
2 Press the [DIRECT] button
3 Press the number buttons
4 Press the [ENTER] button
To resume PBC, press [TOP MENU] or [MENU]. ✍
Zoom
The zoom function allows you to enlarge the video
image.

playback or in the pause mode to enlarge the

1 Press the necessary operation button
In case of Program list : [TOP MENU]

2 Use the [5] or [∞] button to highlight your
selection, then press the [ENTER] button
To remove the disc menu, press the [MENU] ✍
button or the [TOP MENU] button again

Direct Search
Searching the chapter by entering the number.
1 Select the search mode
Press the [DIRECT] button.
Each time you press the button, the search mode
alternates between the modes.
