Setting the Functions
After you select FUNCTION on the SET UP MENU screen 30 , adjust to your preference.
Press / to select the item, then press ENTER.
The setting screen of your selected item appears.
When BLACK LEVEL is selected:

To select the black level of playback pictures.
To turn on or oft the function that automatically stops playback after playing one title.
To switch S and COLOR DIFFERENCE. (COMPONENT VIDEO)
To turn on or off the confirmation beeper for each remote command.
To turn on or off the operational status display (On-screen display) on the TV screen.
Select S or C by pressing
/ , and then press
ENTER.
S: Select when the S VIDEO OUT jack is connected.
C: Select when the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks (Y /Cb / Cr) are
connected.
• If you select “C” when not using the
COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks (Y / Cb /
Cr), the on-screen display will be lost. In
this event, additionally connect the VIDEO
OUT jack (yellow). Select the appropriate
input on your TV and start this process again.
Select a preferred black
level by pressing
/ ,
and then press ENTER.
Select the brightness of playback pictures.
NORMAL: Standard black level.
ENHANCED: Expanded black level.
Select ON or OFF by
pressing
/ , and then
press ENTER.
OFF: Player continues after playback of a title is completed.
ON: Player stops after playback of a title is completed.
