DISC INFORMATION
The following functions can be used for a disc you have recorded
on.
About DISC INFORMATION
You can give discs titles Enter Title
You can write-protect and write-enable DVD-RAM Disc
Protection
You can erase all programs and play lists on DVD-RAM
Erase all programs
You can format DVD-RAM Format
You can finalize DVD-R so they can be played on compatible
DVD players Finalize
DVD-RRAM
(4) Use [ ] to select Yes and press [ENTER].
(4) Enter the title.
Notes:
You can give DVD-RAM titles of up to 64 characters and DVD-R
titles of up to 40 characters.
The 31st letter or later on some finalized DVD-R may not be
displayed due to the font size of titles.
You cannot give DVD-R titles once they have been finalized.
For details on entering titles, see page 32.
To stop partway through
Select No in step (4) and press [ENTER] or [RETURN].
To stop partway through
Select No in step (4) or Cancel in step (5) and press
[ENTER] or [RETURN].
Notes:
The disc title will also be erased.
If protection is active on even one program, you cannot erase all
programs.
For your reference:
You cannot erase computer data.
Nothing will be erased if the disc is write-protected.
All programs and play lists are erased.
Each disc can be given a different title.
(1) While stopped, press [MENU (SHIFT + SEARCH)].
(2) Use [ , , , ] to
select DISC
INFORMATION and press
[ENTER].
(3) Use [ , ] to select Enter Title and press
[ENTER].
DVD-RRAM
Enter Title
This allows you to protect discs from accidental erasure.
This allows you to release disc protection.
After performing steps (1) to (2) of Enter Title,
perform the following steps:

press [ENTER].

Erase all programs
All programs and play lists created from them will be
erased irretrievably when you use this procedure.
After performing steps (1) to (2) of Enter Title,
perform the following steps:
(3) Use [ , ] to select Erase all programs and
press [ENTER].
(4) Use [ ] to select Yes and press [ENTER].
(5) Use [ ] to select Start and press [ENTER].
