CONNECTING THE VCR TO A PC
IMPORTANT:
Before con-
necting the hardware, un-
plug the VCR’s power cord
from the wall outlet, and turn
off the PC.

1. Connect the RS-232C cross cable to the PC’s RS-232C terminal.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the VCR’s RS-232C terminal.

CONNECTING TO A PC FOR REMOTE CONTROL
You can remotely control the VCR using a personal computer that has an RS-232C serial
port.
