4 Press the DISPLAY/STATUS/EXIT button to
exit.
aWhen playback is completed, the
DVD/VCR will rewind and start playback
again.
Picture Select
1 Press the VCR button,then the MENU button.
2 Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to
select SET UP,then press the FF g button.
3 Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to
select PICTURE.
4 Press the FF g button to select the desired
mode (NORMAL,SOFT,or SHARP).
5 Press the MENU button to exit.

VCR Operation
VCR features
Ensure that all VCR setting begins in VCR
mode by pressing the SOURCE
button.
aThe VCR OUTPUT lights up on the DVD/
VCRs front player.
Auto Return
1 Press the VCR button,then the MENU button.
2 Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to
select SET UP then press the FF g button.
3 Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to
select to AUTO RETURN,then press the FF
g button to select AUTO.
4 Press the MENU button.
Note:
If there are any remaining programmes
including Daily,Everyday,& Weekly,AUTO
RETURN will not operate.
Repeat Play
1 Press the VCR button,then the MENU button.
2 Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to
select SET UP then press the FF g button.
3 Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to
select AUTO REPEAT, then press the FF g
button to switch between ON or OFF.

Rerecording (Tape Duplication)
Connect the recording DVD/VCR (this unit),
playing DVD/VCR (another VCR) and your TV
as outline in the following diagram.
1 Insert a pre-recorded videocassette into the
playing DVD/VCR.
2 Insert a blank videocassette into the cassette
compartment of the recording DVD/VCR.
3 Press the SPEED button to select the desired
recording speed (SP/LP).
4 Select AV2 position on the recording
DVD/VCR.
5 Press the RECORD button on the recording
DVD/VCR.
6 Begin playback of the tape in the playback
DVD/VCR.
Notes:
For best results during dubbing,use the
DVD/VCR front panel controls whenever
possible.The remote control might affect
the playback DVD/VCR operation.
If video or colour fades in and out,you
may be copying a copy guarded video
tape.
Different VCRs may operate differently
and you cant record DVD material onto a
video cassette tape using a single unit.
Unauthorised recording of copyrighted
materials may infringe on the rights of
copyright owners, violate copyright laws
and may not record clearly.
