Alternatively, we can lock the disc while
in browser mode;
1 Press the BROWSER on the remote
control.
➜The disc content menu appears.
2 Press the matching colour coded button
on the remote control to select
{ ChildLock }.
➜The disc is now locked. You must
enter the four-digit pin code the next
time when you insert the disc.
Helpful Hint:
– Two-sided DVDs and multi-volume discs
may have a different ID for each side/
volume. To completely unlock these discs, you
must authorise each side/volume separately.
Authorising discs
You can enable playback of a locked disc
by entering the four-digit pin code,
however, it will only allow play once.
1 Insert the disc.
➜If the disc has been locked (child lock
on,) the pin code entry menu will appear
on the TV.
2 Use the alphanumeric keypad 0-9 to
enter your four-digit pin code (see page
57 “Setting or changing the pin code”).
➜Playback will begin.
If you later decide to unlock the disc
and allow play always;
● Follow the steps described in “Activating/
Deactivating the child lock” and select
{ Off } in the menu.
TIPS: Press 1 to go back to previous menu item. Press SYSTEM-MENU to exit the menu.
