34 JPEG and MP3 Features
General Information on CD-R and CD-RWs
When you make CDs, the Disc should have at least 6-10 pictures or 2-3 MP3 music
files. Make sure there are at least 3 MB (three megabytes) of information on the
Disc.The maximum files per folder is 500.
JPEG file names should end with the “.jpg” extension.
To play a JPEG or MP3 file, press the Number buttons to select an item,
then press OK. Or, press

to select an item, then press OK.
JPEG features
● When play is stopped, small copies of the JPEGs will appear (up to 12). Press 4
and 1 or 2 to choose Previous 4 or Next ¢ at the bottom of the screen,
then press OK.This shows you the other pictures on the Disc.
Or, press 3, 4, 1, or 2 to choose a picture, then press OK to start play at the
selected image.
Press 4 and 1 to select the small filmstrip icon at the bottom of the screen, then
press OK.This will play all the files, beginning with the first picture on the page.
● Press ZOOM repeatedly to reduce or enlarge a JPEG. Press 3, 4, 1,or 2 to move
through the image. Not all playback features are available during zoomed play.
● During JPEG play, press 3, 4, 1, or 2 to flip or rotate the image.
● Press ANGLE repeatedly during JPEG play to choose how the pictures will transfer
in/out during play.The default setting is RANDOM.
● Not all features (Pause, System Menu access, etc.) are available during JPEG play.
Repeat/Shuffle
● With MP3 Tracks, press REPEAT continuously to choose:
FOLDER - Plays all files in the Folder once.
REPEAT ONE - Plays an MP3 file repeatedly.
REPEAT FOLDER - Plays all files in the Folder repeatedly.
SHUFFLE - Plays all files in the Folder in random order.
● With JPEGs, press REPEAT continuously to choose:
REPEAT ONE - Plays the current image repeatedly.
REPEAT ALL - Plays all JPEG files repeatedly.
SHUFFLE - Plays JPEG files in random order.
REPEAT OFF - Cancels all repeat and shuffle features.
Program
1 With play stopped, press DISC MENU so the PROGRAM screen appears.
Available files show on the left.The Program list shows on the right.
2 Press 3 or 4 to choose a file to add to the Program, then press OK or PLAY.
(To remove an item from the Program, press 2 to go to the PROGRAM list on
the right; press 3 or 4 to select it, then press STOP.)
3 Press 2 to select an item in the Program. Press OK to play the Program from
that point.
Playing MP3 and JPEG files simultaneously
1 Play an MP3 file as described above.
2 Press RETURN/TITLE.
3 Select a JPEG to play as described above.
4 Press DISC MENU to stop JPEG play.Then press STOP to stop MP3 play.
