Changing the Level
You can change the set Parental Lock level.
Move the joystick up/down to select the
“PARENTAL”.
“PARENTAL” is indicated in blue.
Click the joystick.
Parental Lock setting menu is displayed.
Press the number buttons to input the regis-
tered code number.
Click the joystick.
This enters the code number, and you can now
change the level.
Note:
• If you input an incorrect code number, the prohibited mark “”is displayed.
Press the CLEAR button and input the correct code number.
• If you forget your code number, refer to “If You Forget Your Code Number” on page 57.
Move the joystick left/right to select the
desired level.
Click the joystick.
The new Parental Lock level is set.
Note:
• Pressing the RETURN button takes you back to the previous display.
7 When Playing DVDs Enabling Parental Lock
When you play a disc featuring Parental Lock, code number input indications may be dis-
played. If this happens and you do not input the correct code number, playback will not
begin.
