Connecting the Device
ThisconnectionallowsyoutoconnectadevicethathasYPbPrjacks(Component
Video),forexample,aDVDplayer.IfthedeviceyouareconnectingalsohasS-Video
orcompositevideo,werecommendyouusethecomponentvideoinputforbetter
quality.
TheillustrationshowshowtoconnectaDVDtoyourTVusingcomponentvideo(Y
PbPr)andaudiocables.
Using the example of a DVD player:
1. Connect your cable and/or antenna as described on page 5.
2. Connect your Y Pb Pr component video cables.
ConnectthreevideogradecablestotheYPbPrjacksonthebackoftheTVand
totheYPbProutputsontheDVDplayer.YPbPrcablesarecoloredgreen,blue
andred.JustmatchthecolorsonthecablestotheYPbPrjacks.
3. Connect your audio cables.
Connecttheaudio(redandwhite)cablestotheAUDIORandL(COMPOSITE
INPUT)jacksonthebackoftheTVandtotheaudiooutputjacksontheDVD
player.Justmatchthecolors.
Important - Y Pb Pr cables can only be used with the audio jacks from the
COMPOSITE INPUT located on the back of the TV. You cannot use any other
audio input jacks on this TV for this connection.
Component Video
cables (Y Pb Pr) are
color coded- Green
(Y), Blue (Pb) and Red
(Pr).
Audio cables are color
coded- Red= right audio;
white= left audio

Viewing the Picture from the Connected Device

2. PresstheINPUTbuttonontheremotecontroltotogglethroughtheVideoInput
ChannelsuntilyouseeCVID displayedinthechannelbanner.
