Tuning to a Channel
TheDIG•ANAbuttontogglesbetweenanaloganddigitalmodes.Analogstation
numbersdisplayonyourTVinarectangleasyouenterthenumbers.Inthe
exampletotheleft,youcanenter12or012togetthesamechannel.Toentera
one-digitchannel,suchaschannel8,justpress8.Afterenteringthechannel,press
OK.TheCLEARbuttonontheremoteclearsallentries.
PresstheDIG•ANAbuttontotoggletodigitalmode.Digitalchannelscanhave
bothprimarychannels(liketheanalogchannelnumber)andsubchannels.Digital
stationnumbersdisplayinalargerrectanglethatcancontainuptosixnumbers.
Numberstotheleftofthe-(dash)arethemainchannelnumber;numberstothe
rightarethesubchannelnumbersforstationsthatbroadcastmorethanonesignal.
Intheexampletotheleft,press“1”,press“2”(although012isshowninthe
example,pressing“0”isn’trequired)andthenpresstherightarrowbuttonto
movetothesubchannel.Press“1”andthen“OK.”TheTVtunestochannel12-1.
Ifchannel12isbroadcastingsubchannelsignals,youwouldenternumbersthat
wouldaccesstheothersignals.(Example:12-1,12-2,12-3).Iftheselectiontimes
out,youmuststartover.Onceyou’vemadeallentries,pressOK.TheCLEAR
buttonontheremoteclearsallentries.
Notes: You may experience a delay of several seconds before digital
channels appear, both when you first go to digital mode and when you
change channels. This is normal. Digital channels sometimes take longer to
tune.
SomechannelsmighthavebeenfoundduringtheAutoChannelSearchthatare
unavailabletoviewandyoumightwanttogetridofthesesotheydon’tappearas
youchangechannels.TodothisgotoMain Menu/Setup Menu/List & Labels.Note
thatremovingchannelsfromyourchannellistmaybetimeconsuming,soyou
