Playback
1 Press the TV/DVD button to switch to DVD mode.
2 Press the OPEN/CLOSE () button.
3 Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc’s label facing up.
4 Press the (Play/Pause) or OPEN/CLOSE () button to close the
disc tray.

Disks with defect or copied illegally may not be played back
by DVD player and may cause damage to the DVD system
of your TV set.
Stopping Playback
Press the (Stop) button during playback.
Removing Disc
Press the OPEN/CLOSE () button.
Pausing Playback
Press the (Play/Pause) button during playback, and the screen will
stop with no sound.
To resume, press the (Play/Pause) button again. It will pick up where
you left off (unless the disc is removed, the (Stop) button is pressed
twice or the set is unplugged.).

◆ If the player is left for 5 minutes in pause mode, it will stop.
◆ The “ ” icon indicates an invalid button pressed.
Slow Motion Play (Except CD)
Press the √√ (Forward search) button during pause.
- By pressing the
√√ (Forward search) button for a second during
pause, you can select slow motion playback for 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, or 1/16 of
the normal speed.
- No sound is heard during slow mode.
- Press the (Play/Pause) button to resume normal playback.
- When playing a VCD, reverse slow motion play will not work.
