counter display of approx. 0000.

For example, this feature can be used to return the
tape to a pre-selected position immediately after
recording, or to repeatedly playback a certain por-
tion of a tape.
t You must use the remote control unit for the
following steps.
Before playback or recording, press SELECT but-
ton repeatedly until the counter number is dis-
played.
