Add-ons are extensions to SMARTNotebook software created by SMARTTechnologies and by
third-party software developers.
SMARTNotebook software includes the Activity Builder add-on (see Creating a matching lesson
activity on page 101). You can install other add-ons from the SMARTExchange website to add
specialized features to the software. In addition, you can manage all installed add-ons using the
Add-on Manager.
Installing add-ons
You can search for, browse and install add-ons from the SMARTExchange website.
To install an add-on
1. Select Add-ons > Manage Add-ons.
The Add-on Manager appears.
2. Press Find More.
The SMARTExchange website opens in your web browser.
