Preset radio stations in the system's memory
first (see "Presetting Radio Stations" (page 65)).

1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
"TUNER FM" or "TUNER AM" appears
in the front panel display.
The htst received station is tnned in.
2 Press PRESET + or - repeatedly to
select the preset station.
Each time ynu press the buttnn, the system
tunes in one preset station.

You can select the preset station number directly
by pressing the number buttons.
Adjust the volume by pressing
VOLUME +/-.

To listen to non-preset radio
stations
Use manual nr autonmtic tnning in Step 2.
For manual tuning, press TUNING + or
repeatedly.
For automatic tuning, press and hold TUNING +
or -. The automatic tuning stops automatically
when the system receives the radio station. To
stop the automatic tuning manually, press
TUNING + or -.
To listen to radio stations when
you know the frequencies 2
Use direct Inning in Step 2.

To improve recepliom reorienl the supplied antennas
(aerials).
If an FM program is noisy
It"an FM progrmn is noisy, ynu can select
monaural reception. There will be no stereo
efli:ct, but receptinn will improve.
1 Press SYSTEM MENU.
2 Press ,I,/4, repeatedly until "FM MODE"
appears in the front panel display.

3 Press @ or ").
4 Press ,t/q, to select "MONO."
Tile default setting is underlined.
"STEREO": stereo reception.
"MONO': monaural reception.
5 Press @.
Tile setting is nmde.
6 Press SYSTEM MENU.
Tile system menu turns off.
Naming preset stations
Yon can enter a nanle for preset stations. These
names (for example, "XYZ") appear in the fi'ont
panel display when a station is selected.
Note that no more than one name can be entered
lor each preset station.
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
"TUNER FM" or "TUNER AM" appears
in the front panel display.
Tile last received station is ttmed in.
Press PRESET + or - repeatedly to
select the preset station you want to
create an index name for.
Press SYSTEM MENU.
Press t,/4, repeatedly until "NAME IN"
appears in the front panel display.
5 Press @ or +.
