Meaning
Effect editing is only possible between MAV-555 internal
ports in the OVERWRITE mode. This error occurs when an
effect pattern is specified for INSERT/LIFT/EXTRACT editing
or editing using an external VTR.
Solution
Select the OVERWRITE mode.
When trimming was started either condtion below was not in
effect.
• In the MAV-555 Expansion menu, P2 selected for item 324
“MAVE-F555 PORT”.
• MAV-555 P2 Port is not PLAY.
In this case, one port trimming is used, just as with Ver. 1.10.
When the effect cut was specified, the beginning of the cut
was not specified, or there was no cut point specified on the
specified channel, or when trimming was started there was
no cut point specified.
Solution
An effect result can be deleted with only the beginning of the
cut. Move to the beginning of the cut and try again. For
trimming move to the cut points (IN point and OUT points) for
the cuts on each channel.
When the edit was executed, phase adjustment failed without
correct control of the Player/Recorder. xx indicates the R/P1/
P2 port name.
When the edit was executed, the file was not loaded on either
the Player/Recorder (or TAPE not inserted), and due to an
error message phase adjustment failed.
Recording on R2 Port or RP Port stopped because the disk is
full. Recording and Editing cannot be performed.
Solution
Delete unneeded files to create more empty space on the
hard disk.
If this does not release the error message, on the MAVE-
F555 hold down the SHIFT key and hold down the DEL FILE
key for over 2 seconds until you see the “Optimize Disk?”
message, and then press the EXECUTE/REC key.
All cut information on the MAV-555 is cleared and at the
same time empty space is created on the hard disk.
However, because all of the cut information is erased, cut
jumps, trimming, and UNDO/REDO operations can no longer
be performed.
R2 Port and RP Port cannot be used to record material
because the hard disk is full.
Solution
Perform the same procedure described for “Rec Stopped”.
