5 The same as the IN point, use the MAVE-D555 or BVE-series editor jog
dial to search for the OUT point.
6 Press the MARK OUT key on the MAVE-F555.
The time data of the OUT point appears on the monitor screen.

7 Select the recorder port.
8 Use the MAVE-D555 or BVE-series editor to search for the IN point of
the interval where the cut is to be inserted.
9 Press the MARK IN key.
The time data of the IN point appears on the monitor screen.

Using the channel specification keys (V, A1, A2, A3, and A4), select the
channel(s) where you will insert the cut.
Press the key(s) corresponding to the channel(s) in which you want to
insert the cut, turning on the indicator(s) above the key(s).
If you select only specific channels to insert the cut, see next page, under
Notes.

To execute the cut insertion, press the EXECUTE/REC key.
This inserts the cut, and EDITED appears on the monitor screen.
The recorder file is replaced by the editing result file (the file after
inserting the cut), and the unit cues up to the OUT point of the inserted
section.
