Replacing a cut
The operation for replacing a cut depends slightly on whether the section for
replacement as the cut is specified on the player, or whether a section on the
recorder is specified for replacement as the cut (in other words, an operation
within a single file).

1 Press the [ ] key, and select INSERT mode.
2 Select the player port.
To select another file, follow the procedure in the section “Selecting a file”
(page 3-1).
3 Use the MAVE-D555 or BVE-series editor jog dial to search for the
starting point (IN point) of the original cut for switching.
4 Press the MARK IN key on the MAVE-F555.
The time data of the IN point appears on the monitor screen connected to
the MONITOR OUT connector of the MAV-555.
