Press the key(s) corresponding to the channel(s) in which you want to

If you select only specific channels for the cut replacement, to make the

This carries out the replacement, and EDITED appears on the monitor

The recorder file is replaced by the editing result file (the file after
making the replacement), and the unit cues up to the OUT point of the
replaced section.
Notes
After executing the cut replacement, as the recorder file is replaced by the
editing result file, the monitor screen goes temporarily blank.
For details of the holding period for the player and recorder IN point and OUT
point, see Section 3-2-12, IN Point and OUT Point Holding Periods (page 3-54).
Editing can be performed without specifying an OUT point with the MARK
OUT key on the MAVE-F555. Press the EXECUTE/REC key and when the
desired OUT point appears press the ALL STOP key on the MAVE-D555.
The stop point is specified as the OUT point.
With an external VTR selected as the Player, a cut cannot be replaced. In this
case, the OUT point specified on the Recorder port is disabled, and the cut is
inserted at the specified IN point. (The result is the same as inserting a cut.)
