• Using the jog dial of the MAVE-D555 or BVE-series editor, for example,
search for the IN point and OUT point.
• The time data of the IN point and OUT point appear on the monitor
screen connected.

4 Select the recorder port.
5 Press the MARK IN key and MARK OUT key on the MAVE-F555 to set
the IN point and OUT point respectively.

• The time data of the IN point and OUT point appear on the monitor
screen connected.

6 Using the channel specification keys (V, A1, A2, A3, and A4), select the
channel(s) which you will overwrite with the cut.
• Press the key(s) corresponding to the channel(s) you want to overwrite,
turning on the indicator(s) above the key(s).
• If you select only specific channels to overwrite, see next page “Notes”.
7 To execute the cut overwriting, press the EXECUTE/REC key.
• This overwrites the cut, and “EDITED” appears on the monitor screen.
• The recorder file is replaced by the editing result file (the file after
overwriting the cut), and the unit cues up to the OUT point of the inserted
section.
