To delete any desired section of a file, use the following procedure.
1 Select EXTRACT mode or LIFT mode.
Press the [
] key (EXTRACT) or [ ] key (LIFT).
2 Select the recorder port.
3 Select the file including the section you want to delete.
For details of the file selection operation, see the section “Selecting a file”
(page 3-1).
4 Use the MAVE-D555 or BVE-series editor jog dial to select the IN point
for the interval to delete.
5 Press the MARK IN key on the MAVE-F555.
The time data of the IN point appears on the monitor screen connected to
the MONITOR OUT connector of the MAV-555.
