Pausing recording
1 Press the BG key to select the background port.
2 Press the [
x
] key in the BACK GROUND operation section.
• This pauses recording on the background port (R2 port).
• In this state, hold down the [
z
] key once again and press the [
B
] key
to resume recording to the same recording file, allowing a connected
recording.
Stopping recording and switching to a new file
1 Press the BG key to select the background port.
2 Hold down the [
z
] key in the BACK GROUND operation section, and
press the [
x
] key.
3-3-3 Background Playback
When the background port is a playback port (the MAV-555 P3 port), you can
control the background port from the MAVE-F555 to play back desired files
on the MAV-555.

To start playback on the background port, use the following procedure.
1 Press the BG key to select the background port.
2 Use the – / + keys to select a file for playback.
3 Press the [
B
] key in the BACK GROUND operation section.
Playback starts on the background port (P3 port).
