Advanced Setup
Allows you to configure special settings such as the background matte color for wide aspect
ratio programming, the channel banner time-out period, remote control ID selection and
advanced digital closed captioning settings.
To set advanced Setup Menu:
1.
Press the
Menu
button on the Remote Control to display the on-screen menu.
2.
Scroll down using “
E
” on the remote control.
3.
Select the
Setup
menu by pressing “ ”.
4.
Scroll down to Advanced using “
E
”.
5.
Press “
G
” to display the Advanced Setup Menu screen.
Remote ID
Lets you assign one of two remote ID’s. This can be useful if you have more than one Sony satellite
receiver in one location. While the Remote ID menu is displayed, press the Code Set button, enter
either “50” or “51” and press the Enter button. The remote control and DIRECTV
®
High-Definition
Receiver are now set to either remote ID 50 or 51.
