Preparing a Power Source
(Rechargeable Battery)
Charge the built-in rechargeable battery
before using the player for the first time, or
when the battery is depleted.
If you keep the AC power adaptor connected
to the speaker cradle, you can charge the
battery simply by mounting the player on the
speaker cradle.
Notes
• Charging is not performed during playback.
• During charging, the player and the speaker cradle
may become warm. This poses no danger.

Connect the AC power adaptor to
the DC IN 12V jack of the speaker
cradle and an AC outlet.

Mount the player on the speaker
cradle.
Charging starts and the lamp flashes
in orange first, and then remains lit.

When the battery is completely charged,
the lamp turns red.
Charging time
Approximately 3 hours to charge an empty
battery up to full capacity.

Mount and dismount the player carefully.
Notes on the AC power adaptor
• Disconnect all power sources when the player is
not to be used for a long time.
• Use only the AC power adaptor supplied. Do not
use any other AC power adaptor. It may cause a
malfunction.
Polarity of the plug
• Do not touch the AC power adaptor with wet
hands.
• Connect the AC power adaptor to an easily
accessible AC outlet. Should you notice an
abnormality in the AC power adaptor, disconnect it
from the AC outlet immediately.
