Watching on a TV
The pictures played on the player will be
watched on a TV by connecting the player
and the TV as shown below. You need a plug
adaptor to connect the VIDEO jack. Refer to
the operating manual supplied with the TV
connected.

Set the LINE SELECT switch to OUT.
To set the picture size to the TV screen
The picture size is set to 16:9 in the default
setting. If the TV screen is 4:3, select the
setting in [TV TYPE] under [SCREEN
SETUP] (
page 42).
To set the color system to the TV screen
Select the appropriate setting in [COLOR
SYSTEM] under [SCREEN SETUP] (
page 42).
Note
The Setup menu screens or characters on the screen
may look compressed in the vertical direction when
the video cord is connected when:
- [COLOR SYSTEM] is set to [PAL].
- [COLOR SYSTEM] is set to [AUTO], and
playing a PAL system disc.
This does not indicate a malfunction of the player.
