To delete a number in the program, use the cursor
buttons to highlight the incorrect number. Then
press the “Sleep” button to activate the “Clear”
function.
To insert a number in the program, use the cursor
buttons to highlight the desired location. Press the
number buttons of the number to be inserted. The
new number is inserted before the previously
highlighted number.
You may also insert a pause in the program. The
player will pause when this point is reached in the
program, and must be put into the play mode
manually. Simply press the “Pause” button when the
cursor is in the desired location. A pause cannot be
programmed as the first or last position in the
program, and two or more pauses may not be
programmed in succession.
You may also create a program”on the fly” while
playing a discs. Simply press and hold the Program
button for at least two seconds at any point during
playback of a title, chapter, or track, and it will be
added to a program without displaying the Program
screen. When a title, chapter, or track is successfully
added to the program, it is shown momentarily in
the display, as well as its position in the program.
When using this function to program DVDs, first
use the “Program” button to select either
“Program Chapter” or “Program Title” as
desired.
