Basic Operations
2-ZONE indication
Icon color indicates ON/OFF
• OFF : blue
• ON : green
• When 2-ZONE function is turned ON, the
main unit’s buttons operate to control the
MAIN zone source, while the remote
control unit’s buttons operate to control the
SUB zone source.
2. To turn the 2-ZONE function OFF, either
press the remote control unit’s [2-ZONE]
button, or touch the [2ZONE] key on the
main menu.

button to switch sources.
• When no iPod is connected, switching is
DVD mode ➜ VISUAL mode
• When an iPod is connected, only the
internal DVD can be played.
2-ZONE Function
About the 2-ZONE function
The 2-ZONE function is a function that outputs
separate sounds from the MAIN zone and SUB
zone by simultaneously operating two sources in
the one center unit, thereby allowing plural
listeners to enjoy separate music sources.
The 2-ZONE function allows internal sources
(radio, DVD, VISUAL) and external sources via
CeNET connection (for example, CD changers) to
be played respectively on MAIN zone and SUB
zone. For examples of playback possibilities, see
the section “Setting the 2-ZONE function”.
The sources of the MAIN zone are played back
from the speakers of the vehicle side, and those
of the SUB zone are from the headphone
systems (WH100).
Sound volume control on the SUB zone is
performed by the headphone system (WH-100).
Notes:
• Except DVD/VISUAL, the MAIN and SUB zones
cannot simultaneously use sources inside this
unit. Also, external equipment connected via
CeNET cannot simultaneously be used.
• The ISR function cannot be operated when the 2-
ZONE function is turned on.
• The Audio mode function cannot be set for the
sources of the SUB zone.
• If any of following external equipment is
connected, this function is disenabled.

• When an iPod is connected, the SUB zone
switches to DVD mode.
• If SUB zone is set to VISUAL when 2-ZONE is
ON, connecting an iPod will cause the 2-ZONE
function to turn OFF.
Setting the 2-ZONE function
∗ The factory default setting is “OFF”.
1. Hold the remote control unit’s [2-ZONE]
button depressed (about 1 second) to turn
the 2-ZONE function ON.
• The function can also be switched by
touching and holding the main menu’s
[2ZONE] key (about 1 second).
