Changing the TV settings
2 Press or to select Audio, then press or ENTER. The Audio
menu opens.
3 Press or to select Audio Language, then press or
ENTER. The Audio Language menu opens.
4 Press , , or the number buttons (0-6) to select the language
you want.
5 Press EXIT to return to normal viewing.
Selecting the HDMI audio input source
When you have an HDMI or DVI device connected to the PC/DVI AUDIO
IN jack, with an HDMI or DVI device, you must select either an HDMI or
DVI audio input source.
To select the HDMI audio input source:
1 Press SETUP/TV MENU. The initial on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to select Audio, then press or ENTER. The Audio
menu opens.
3 Press or to select HDMI Audio, then press or to select
one of the following options:
• HDMI—When you connect an HDMI device to your TV.
• DVI—When you connect a DVI device to your TV and
connect the sound with an analog sound cable.
4 Press EXIT to return to normal viewing.
Changing miscellaneous settings
Adjusting the back lighting
You can adjust the back lighting of the screen to improve picture clarity.
To adjust the back lighting:
1 Press SETUP/TV MENU. The initial on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to select Setup, then press or ENTER. The Setup
menu opens.
3 Press or to select Backlight, then press or to adjust
the setting.
4 Press EXIT to return to normal viewing.
Setting the automatic shut off
The Auto Shut Off feature automatically turns the TV off after 15
minutes if the station being viewed stops broadcasting or the TV is not
operated in that time.
