1 Press the GUIDE button. The main on-screen menu will appear on the TV screen.
2 Press the (6) button to select "CM ADV.".
The "COMMERCIAL ADVANCE" menu will appear on the TV screen.
Commercial Advance Marking:
Confirm that "CM SEARCH <ON>" is specified for item 1. If not, press the (1) button.
The screen on the right appears each time you stop recording.
Select 1 or 2 within one minute after this screen has appeared. If it is not selected within one minute, the menu
will disappear and "1 MARKING START" will be selected. If the recording includes commercials, the tape is
rewound automatically and the commercials are marked when the button is pressed. Press the (2) button to
cancel the markings.
After you have made a delayed recording, "1 MARKING START" is specified automatically.
To Turn Off Marking:
Press the (1) button to select "CM SEARCH <OFF>".
