Basic operations
Now you can play a DVD VIDEO or a CD disc. First, let’s enjoy simple playback
according to following procedure.
Playing a DVD VIDEO or CD disc
To play a disc from the beginning

When you play a Video CD disc
with PBC function or DVD disc,
the menu display may appear on
the TV screen. In this case, you
can operate some functions such
as playback from the menu
displayed on the TV screen.

Short cuts
To adjusting the volume level
• For TV
Press
TV
VOLUME

to increase the volume, and
TV
VOLUME

to decrease the volume.
• For a JVC amplifier
Press
AUDIO
VOLUME

to increase the volume, and
AUDIO
VOLUME
–
to decrease the volume.
• For other amplifier or receiver
Adjust the volume level of the connected amplifier or receiver.
See the instructions of the amplifier or receiver.
• For headphones
To increase the volume, turn
PHONES LEVEL
MIN MAX
to the right. To decrease the volume,
turn
PHONES LEVEL
MIN MAX
to the left.
To stop playback completely
