NOTES:
If you press NAVI while Video Navigation is deactivated, the Navigation Set Up screen appears. Set "NAVIGATION" to "ON"
(
pg. 43).
Video Navigation playback is possible only with the tape recorded on this VCR.
To record the date and time as the program title in this VCR's memory, make sure the VCR’s clock is set correctly before recording.
To record the program information in this VCR’s memory, you must record each program for over the minimum recording time; 5
min for the D-VHS (HS) mode, 10 min for the D-VHS (STD) mode, 30 min for the D-VHS (LS3) mode, 50 min for the D-VHS (LS5)
mode, 5 min for the S-VHS/VHS (SP) mode and 15 min for S-VHS/VHS (EP) mode.
Video Navigation may not work properly for some tapes.
During playback or when searching for the beginning of a program, a VCR might find two different tape numbers recorded on a
tape. After you remove this tape, the tape will be assigned just one tape number (the smaller one). After this, the higher tape
number will be missing from the memory’s tape number list.
Tape program information is stored in this VCR’s memory. If this VCR’s memory is damaged and the program information is lost, it
is impossible to restore that information.
After recording a tape on this VCR, write the tape number on a label and affix the label to the tape in order to allow you to find the
tape by its number.
The on-screen display is output to the TV with S-VIDEO, VIDEO, COMPONENT VIDEO signal in 480i image format.
