_>Important:
_Important:
Don't leave stationary images on-screen for more than 10 minutes.
These images can scar the TV, causing permanent damage to the
picture tube. Some examples of stationary images are:
• stock-market reports,
• station loges (especially bright ones),
• video game displays,
• shopping channel displays,
• the television's own on-screen displays.
If you plan to place speakers next to the TV, make sure they are
magnetically shielded. Ordinary speakers will cause distortion in
the picture due to their strong magnets. This disto]tion, however,
will not harm the picture tube.
For maximum enjoyment and safe operation of your MITSUBISHI
Color TV, please read the "IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS" carefully
and apply them properly.
To keep your TV from toppling in the event of an earthquake, you
can use the clamp attached to the back of the te:[e_ision to secure it
to the wall. Simply run a cord or :cope through the clamp, then
attach the rope to the wall directly behind the tele_rision.
Cleaning
Normally, light dusting with a non-scratching duster will keep your
TV clean.

wipe it gently with a soft cloth slightly moistened with water'.
You can add a few drops of mild liquid detergent to the water for
oily dirt.
DO NOT allow liquid to enter the TV through the ventilation slots.
DO NOT use strong or abrasive cleaners.
DO NOT use spray liquids or cleaners directly on the TV's surface.
DO NOT scrub or rub the TV harshly. Wipe gently.
