LIMITED WARRANTY
MITSUBISHIDIGITALELECTRONICSAMERICA,INC.("MDEA')warrantsto theoriginalpurchaserof thistelevisionthat ifpurchasedfrom anauthorized
MITSUBISHIAudio/VideoDealer,shouldit provedefectivebyreasonof improperworkmanshipand/ormaterial:
a, Parts. The lenticular (i.e. front picture) screen and/or the DiamondShield TM is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30
days.All other parts are warranted for a period of one year from the date of the original purchase at retaiLWe will repair or replace, at our option,any
defective part without charge for the part. Parts used for replacement are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
b. Labor. For 30 daysafter the original purchase at retail,we will repair or replace,at our option, the lenticular screen if it proves defective. For all other
parts,we will provide the laborfor awarranty repair by anauthorized MITSUBISHI service center without chargefor one yearfrom the date or original
purchaseat retail.
c. Notice. To obtain warranty service, you must notify an authorized MITSUBISHI service center of any defect within the applicable warranty time period,
I.TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
a.Contact your nearestauthorizedMITSUBISHI service center whose name andaddress can be obtained from your MITSUBISHI dealeror by writing or
calling MDEA at the addressand telephone number providedbelow.
b,Warranty service will be provided in your home or, ifrequired, at an authorized service shop, provided that your television is located within the geographic
territory customarily covered by an authorized MITSUBISHI service center, Ifnot, you must either deliver your television to an authorized service location
at your own expense, or pay for any travel and/or transportation costs the service center may charge to and from your home.Actual service labor will be
provided without charge.
c.Proof of purchase date from an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer is required when requesting warranty service. Present your salesreceipt or other
documentwhich establishesproof and date of purchase.THE RETURN OFTHE OWNER REGISTRATION CARD ISNOTA CONDITION OFWAR-
RANTY COVERAGE.However, please return the Owner Registration Card so that we cancontact you should a question of safety arise which could affect
you.
2.THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER damagecaused by:modification, alteration, repair or service of the product by anyoneother than an authorized
MITSUBISHI service center; physicalabuseto, or misuse of,the product; operation in amanner contrary to the instructions which accompany the product,
including uneven picture tube aging and imprinted imageson the viewing screen;freight damage;or anydamagecaused by acts of God suchaslightningor
fluctuation in electrical power.This warranty alsoexcludes allcosts arisingfrom installation, adjustment of usercontrols, external antenna systems,service of
products purchased or serviced outside the U.S.A.,initial technical adjustments (set-up) and user-required maintenance. Consult the operating instructions
furnished with the product for information regarding user controls.
3.ANY EXPRESSWARRANTY NOT PROVIDED HEREIN, AND ANY REMEDYWHICH, BUT FORTHIS PROVISION, MIGHTARISE BY IMPLICATION
OR OPERATION OF LAW, ISHEREBYEXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. THE IMPLIEDWARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESSFOR
ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSEARE EXPRESSLYLIMITEDTO ATERM OF ONEYEAR.
4. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL MCEA BELIABLETO PURCHASER ORANY OTHER PERSON FORANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIALOR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,WHETHERARISING OUT OF BREACH OFWARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE.
5. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental special, or consequential damages,
so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
&This warranty givesyou specific legal rights,andyou mayalso have other rights which vary from state to state.
7. BEFOREREQUESTING SERVICE,pleasereview the instruction booklet to insure proper installationand correct customer control adjustment. If the
