Changing the initial setting of DVD
Turn on the TV, and switch the input to the "VIDEO 1" or "VIDEO 2" etc. accord-
ingly.
A new setting will be retained even if the DVD player is set to the stand-by mode. If
you want to restore or change the setting, reset it.

Notes:
! You cannot display the setup screen while a disc is playing.
! See page 21 for selecting another language for disc menus.
! The previous screen appears by pressing the RETURN button while selecting
an item or setting.

Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.
! The startup screen appears.
! If the startup screen does not appear, set the input to "DVD".
! The disc should be stopped at this time.
2 After pressing the button, press the SETUP DVD button.

Press the or button to select the menu and press the ENT but-
ton.
4 Press the or button to change the setting and press the ENT
button.
Example: "PLAYER MENU" is selected
Repeat the operation as instructed.
(The number of repetition depends on the setting item.)
To change other settings, begin from step 3.
5 Press the SETUP DVD button.
The new setting is memorized.
