If trouble occurs
When this product is subjected to strong external interference (mechanical shock,
excessive static electricity, abnormal supply voltage due to lightning, etc.) or if it is
operated incorrectly, it may malfunction.
If such a problem occurs, do the following:
Resetting the AV control unit:
Caution:
This operation will erase all data stored in memory and restore various settings to the
initial status (default).
Resetting the DVD player:
Unplug the unit and, after waiting 5 minutes or longer, plug it in again.
When the protection circuit is activated:
When short-circuiting the speaker cords or turning the volume too high, the protec-
tion circuit may be activated and the power may turn off.
Unplug the subwoofer/amplifier unit and plug it in again after 5 minutes or more.
Turn down the volume if set too high.

Before transporting the system
1 Press the ON/STAND-BY button of the DVD player to turn the power on.
2 Open the disc tray and remove the disc.
3 Close the disc tray and enter the system to stand-by mode.
4 After the power indicator goes off, unplug the system.
